Carlos Acosta-Tocororo

Carlos Acosta leads and choreographs 17 dancers handpicked from the leading Cuban Dance Companies. This is Cuban dance and music blended with classical ballet. Loosely based on Acosta's life story it tells of a young Cuban boy who leaves his family and the traditions of the Cuban countryside for an urban setting. This production was first premiered at Sadler's Wells in July 2003 and is returning for a new season from 29th June - 24th July 2004
